Simulation
Tiny Harbor Town
★★★★☆ 4.1
Tiny Harbor Town is comfort food. You start with a rickety pier and slowly build a little coastal town — docks, markets, cottages, fishing boats coming and going. There's no timer breathing down your neck, which is exactly what I wanted from a sim like this.
The loop is gather, build, unlock, repeat, but the presentation keeps it charming. Tiny boats bob in the water, townsfolk wander your streets, and each new building visibly changes the skyline. Optimizing your resource flow becomes a quiet, pleasant puzzle.
It won't blow anyone's mind and the late game gets a touch repetitive, but for winding down before bed it hits the spot. I kept it on my phone longer than most sims for that reason.
What we liked
- Zero-pressure, build-at-your-own-pace design
- A town that visibly grows as you play
- Satisfying resource flow to optimize
