Neon Drift League
★★★★☆ 4.2
Neon Drift League leans hard into style, and it works. The tracks are these glowing night-city loops, and the whole game is built around drifting through corners to build boost. Nail a long drift chain and you rocket down the next straight — miss it and you're eating the pack's exhaust.
Controls default to tilt, but I switched to on-screen buttons within a minute because tilt on a phone is always a wobbly mess. With buttons it feels tight and responsive. The car handling has real weight, and each vehicle drifts differently, which makes tuning your ride matter.
There's a decent single-player ladder plus quick races. It's not a sim and never tries to be, but as an arcade drifter it delivers a satisfying flow state once you learn the tracks.
What we liked
- Drift chaining that feeds a genuine sense of speed
- Button controls that beat wobbly tilt
- Distinct handling across every car
